JJ Jin


JJ Jin is an architectural designer specializing in urban research, subversive and sustainable construction techniques, and using Parametric Design to optimize design and development. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Urban Planning from University of Southern California (USC).

He draws from his interdisciplinary education and aims to design through placemaking and contribute to a well-rounded urban fabric. His recent academic pursuits have been focused on an adaptive reuse project for the Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx and how it can become an economic engine for local residents and the broader community.

He is currently working part-time as a Design Assistant for WE-DESIGNS and studying for his Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation (GSAPP).
