Lucy C. Liu
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Lucy is a creative designer with a background in Architecture, Visual Arts and Urban Planning. Her undergraduate research was on the intersection of gender, race and class and its implications on the built urban environment, specifically looking into ways Architecture can be utilized to redevelop and improve the living conditions of underdeveloped informal communities. Lucy completed her Masters of Architecture at USC Architecture with a focus on digital fabrication, technology and real estate while further developing her graphic illustration skills. One of her favorite explorations was looking into the profound effects of the recent boom in the digital space as it pertains to digital currency, art and real estate. She hopes to provide innovative solutions to bridge together the digital space with the physical.
Lucy is now excited to be able to expand on traditional architecture and apply her technical and analytical skills to related fields and provide creative solutions. Her current exploration in AR/XR pushes the use of technology as an educational medium to test the possibilities of the digital space in a more accessible lense. With constant curiosity and passion for design technology and built environment as her continual artistic drive, she hopes to contribute to communities by making sustainable and thoughtful design more accessible to all.
